This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how Canonical LLC ("Dragify," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Dragify mobile application (the "App") and any related websites or services (collectively, the "Services").

WELCOME TO DRAGIFY'S PRIVACY POLICY

Dragify is a creative photo transformation service that allows users to generate stylized, artistic portrait images using AI-based processing.

If you do not read this entire Policy, please understand these key points:

• Dragify processes only the images you explicitly select for transformation.
• We do not use your images for advertising, training unrelated models, or selling to third parties.
• We use third-party cloud infrastructure to perform image processing.
• Images are stored only temporarily for processing and performance purposes and are automatically deleted after a short retention window.
• You remain in control of what you upload, delete, and share.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Face Photos

Dragify's core feature requires you to submit a photo containing your face ("face photo"). When you initiate a face swap, you explicitly select or capture a photo — no images or face data are collected passively or in the background. We temporarily process:

• The face photo you upload or capture through the App (standard JPEG image).
• The result image generated from the transformation.

We do not collect facial geometry, biometric templates, or facial recognition data of any kind.

Face photos are:

• Transmitted securely over HTTPS to our processing servers
• Stored only temporarily for processing and short-term re-edit caching
• Automatically and permanently deleted within 7 days of upload
• Deleted immediately if the swap request fails

1.2 Usage and Technical Information

We may collect limited non-image information including:

• App usage events (feature usage, session timing, error states)
• Device and system data (OS version, device type, language, IP-based region)
• Subscription and entitlement status (we do not collect billing or payment card data)

This data is associated with an internal, anonymous App Instance ID rather than your name or identity.

1.3 Communications

If you contact us (e.g., support email), we may collect:

• Your email address
• The contents of your message
• Any information you voluntarily provide

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

2.1 Face Photos

We use face photos solely to:

• Perform the face swap transformation you explicitly requested
• Return the generated result image to you
• Enable limited re-edits within the retention window

We do not use face photos for:

• Advertising or marketing
• User identification or cross-app tracking
• Biometric authentication
• Training AI models unrelated to your requested swap
• Resale or sharing with data brokers

2.2 Other Information

We use non-image data to:

• Operate and improve the App
• Provide support and respond to requests
• Maintain security and prevent abuse
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns
• Manage subscriptions and entitlements
• Comply with legal obligations

3. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell personal information.

3.1 Face Photo Sharing

To perform the face swap, your face photo is transmitted to Replicate (replicate.com), a third-party AI infrastructure provider that runs the machine learning model responsible for the face composite. Your photo is sent as encrypted data over a secure, authenticated HTTPS connection. Replicate's handling of this data is governed by Replicate's Privacy Policy.

We do not share face photos with any other third parties — no advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers receive your face data.

3.2 Other Sharing

We may also share information with:

• Fly.io — cloud infrastructure provider hosting our backend servers (United States)
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting, compliance)
• Authorities, when legally required

Face photos and result images are only accessible to processors necessary to provide the service.

4. YOUR CHOICES

You may:

• Revoke device permissions (camera, photos) via system settings
• Delete images within the App
• Request deletion of cached images or account-related data
• Opt out of marketing communications

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App may integrate with or link to third-party platforms (e.g., app stores, social platforms). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

6. SECURITY

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure. However, no system is perfectly secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own device and account.

7. DATA RETENTION

Face photos and result images are automatically and permanently deleted within 7 days of upload. If a swap request fails for any reason, all uploaded files for that request are deleted immediately. You may request early deletion by contacting privacy@dragify.app.

Other data is retained only as long as necessary for operational, legal, or security purposes.

8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence. We apply appropriate safeguards including contractual protections and technical controls.

9. CHILDREN

Dragify is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and notify users of material changes.
